I thought it would be fun to open up an old computer of my to look at the ancient socket A. Then i got into fixing it, well i got it to boot up, but the video is not working well. I run my monitor through an old video card (a 3DFX voodoo3), both resigter as being hooked up, and i tired to install the lastest drivers, but the color wont go higher than 16-nit low. I try to change it under video properties to 256-colours or 16bit-high, but it just reverts back to 16-bit low. Any suggestions.

Delete any instances of the Voodoo drivers (Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and look for display adapter), delete your video card after in Device Manager and try to detect it again.

32mb i think
-im going to try to delete all the drivers and retry.....its thoughti got it to work, cause i tried for months with no results and one random day i get it to work. BUT it looks stupid in 16-bit.
-anyother programs or suggestions?
i heard that i could install drivers for the voodoo4 or other voodoo products that are higher up????
