which version of xp is best?

ok i think u helped now ! xp i've got axcess to both home ed and proff which should i have !!!! (yes i will have decent hardware)i want a decent tower. i've had the same for the last 4 years.it's got really slow.

Well if I was you, I would go with Home Edition,
unless for some reason Proffesional was cheaper but it isnt.
But like I said its your choice. It would be better if you can
try them both out.

I cant belive my eyes. someone just recommended Window ME over Xp I hope that was sarcasm. Me crashed more than Californian drivers. I have had xp for almost 1 1/2 years and it has never crashed once. I have 2 computers that run it and no problems with it at all. In my opinion its the best os that I have ever used. Yes I even have had all the stupid linux junk.

i wouldnt go for xp it is incompatible with many programs and crashes a lot (i know from experience)

for all the features with compatiblity and speed, try windows ME.

ME is worse than win98.

also if you are using a *ahem* free copy of xp i reccomend you use the latest xp pro corporate ones as they can have SP2 and other updates.

At first i think XP was a bit prone to crashing and had some flaws but now its amazing . Me will be less complatable with things now .
