Well Geil Ultra X is like Kingston Hyper-X. But there are other forms of Geil Ultra such as Geil Ultra Value, Geil Ultra, etc., but only Geil Ultra X is close to Kingston Hyper-X.

Isn't the SO-Dimm memory used in laptops It wouldn't be compatible with your current memory stick in the PC. Generally, I like to use the same brand, speed, and pin. I would match the memory down to the detail of your original memory. It should be ok with different brand.
