I'd have gone with the plastic lid option and looked up on the internet where the original ventilation holes were and cut them/drilled them out!

No longer have the laptop. He was finally able to get his money back and returned the laptop..

it works fine without the case.

cooling is improved.


(If I recall correctly) the "feet" aren't on the bottom, that's just a panel that slides off.
