USB port failure.

Now how can I describe this.. hmm...

I have 4 devices hooked into my PC normally, A laser mouse, scanner, printer, and my mp3 player cradle.

for some reason, when I tried to play in my mp3 player, it just wouldn't work, and it really started to piss me off.

After swapping cables around, I found that one of the USB ports on my mother board quit working, (there are two actually attached to the mother board, two attached to a d-link bracket, and two in the case. from a back view of the case, the left side USB port attached to the mother board just quit working all together... no idea why either..

Has anyone ever had this happen, and might know what the problem is?

First, unplug everything and reboot the PC. Then start plugging in your mouse and the MP3 cradle in to see if it works. If it does, then add the other USB devices in and see if they work.
