Question USB help!!

Ok so i got this new 1GB USB thing for free, from a drug representative, so i thought, why not, its free! I try to use it, and it has some kind of auto-run thing inside it so as soon as you put it in, it brings up the companies(drug reps) website, when i go in to save something, and click view all files, there are 2 autorun type things i cannot delete, as it says it is "read-only" how would i go about removing these and using this as a regular USB drive, ive uncased the usb and i do not see any type of switch anywhere on there..

try using this nifty tool from HP: HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8
This utility will format any USB flash drive, with your choice of FAT, FAT32, or NTFS partition types.

If it's locked to read only then it is virtually useless, it may be formatable (I don't believe it will be) but you will never be able to write to it anyway so it's a waste of time formatting.
