What you're saying is very misleading.

If you can say that you have never seen any difference in cables, then you're either not looking, or you haven't seen very many cables.

There is often a significant difference between O.E.M. cables, and the cheap aftermarket junk that's out there.

Don't quite agree, just because some cables are cheap does not mean they are junk.
I find some OEM equipment can be over priced considerably and quality not up to expectations.

Sure there can be differences but also cheaper can be the same or better.

We agree on that...there are some aftermarket cables that are as good or better than OEM, but there is also a lot of garbage out there that the consumer needs to sort out.
