USB 2.0 on case to motherboard

Following my motherboard (msi) instructions i plugged my case (aspire x-dreamer2) usb 2.0 ports int a jusb1 on the motherboard.... Now the usb devices i plug in get power (as in lights turn on an what not) but the computer does not read the device. I have sp 1 and 2 and all windows updates.... what could be wrong?

you need to install the usb drivers, they should be on a cd that came with your motherboard.

i isnter the cd and it just says to install service pack 1 and 2

that is probably assuming that you already have the usb drivers installed....go to your device manager and check your devices, and look for "universal serial bus controllers"

it says they are there but the USB is still not working and im sure i got the diagram right.
