Default ---URGENT--- Pioneer DVD-ROM drive

Hi, i need to install some software on another pc with a pioneer dvd disk drive. It works fine except a new game company of hereos wont install on it. It starts the autorun.exe and then i click install (starting setup.exe i presume). I can hear the disc spinning, but then t he disc suddenly stops and my pc hangs. What does this mean. The disc works perfectly fine on another pc. What is the problem. I need to get this working tonight and if i need a new dvd drive, ive got less than an hour to go get one (from pcworld).

Thx alot

If you've got a thing of canned air, open up the drive and spray it around. It sounds like there's a read error going on, and there's probably some dust that got inside the drive.
