Hi guys, I'm just looking to buy a graphics card tomorrow as my computer is really struggling to keep up with new games coming out so i'll need some urgent help for this as I do not know too much about computer hardwares. (Sorry for the last minute post)..
I have a Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI Series motherboard, AMD Athlon x64 Duo core 2.1gb processor, 1GB RAM and a NVIDIA 7600 GS graphics card. This seems to give me some intensive lag on the latest games such as Aion Online and I know its due my hardware not being up to date as I have had this computer for 3+ years.
Now to the point, as far as I'm aware or at least what I've been told not all graphics card/RAM will fit on all motherboards depending on the size, slots etc. I just want to know is the ideal amount of RAM and which graphics card can I get for my motherboard which is reasonably priced around 1gb-2gb memory for these modern games so I'm able to play it on high to max settings with little to no lag.
Please try to keep it simple as possible.. Thanks!!
