. The problem with larger ssd drives is that they are significantly more expensive than their mechanical equivalent. Only you can decide for yourself if having that big a drive in your laptop is worth almost $600. Is the laptop you have even worth that much?
BTW, you don't need to worry that a particular drive says it is compatible with your laptop. As long as the drive is a 2.5" form factor SATA drive, you're good to go.
