Im going to be buying a PC off a friend of mine, its a good one as he has only had it for about a year. It is a Intel Pentium 4, 2800 MHz, with a Nvidia Geforce4 MZ 440 with AGP8X, and 512mb of ram.

Im planning to get a new Radeon Graphics card (Radeon R9600xt),video card (maybe) and a new 512mb ram card. But i am unsure what i really should get. Anyone here help me out at all? I want to upgrade the PC to 1024mb RAM and a really good graphic card to replay the one currently in it.

well first you have got to know what compatably, my guess is at least pc3200, so you could either find out whats currently in it and buy another one of those or get something new, this site will tell you what you have now http://www.crucial.com/

or you can get everest here and find out exactly what you have

we need to know a bit more information about you system before we can give more help with the memory

now for graphics cards it depend on how much you want to spend and what maker you like, ie ati or nvidia. if its nvidia i would suggest a 6600gt they are awsome cards for the price ( around 175-200)and there are plenty of people that have them, so the support is there.. hope this helps
