Default upgrading a laptop?

i dont know anything about upgrading laptops or if its possible. i have built pc systems before and i wanted to upgrade my dell latitude 300mghz p2 mmx laptop, i want a faster processor, and possibly better graphics as at the mo i am running at 16bit on 1024 by 768 and cant play any games that use open GL.
any help would be much apprediated. i would also like a dvd drive aswell instead of the normal cd drive.

You can really upgrade laptops. I have never tried so I may be wrong but I don't think it is possible

You can upgrade some parts of laptops, some you can upgrade the processor, most you can only upgrade the hard drive and memory, modem.

You will have to check with the manufacture.

I don't think you can update that laptop. I have a Dell lattitude pentium 3 laptop and the only thing |I can upgrade is the memory. I don't think the older lattitudes are upgradeable.
