Default Upgrading just my Grafics card

I got
Asus ETA 4850 Video Card (i want to upgrade this)
430 watt power supply
full tower cool master case don't know the model
PK5 pro mother board
Q6600 QuadCore CPU
640 WD HHD
20x Lg cd drive
and 4gb of silocan powered ram

I want to get a new Video card will my power supply be enough to power a new card please il really just want to get a new card asap i live in Melbourne aus i need it so i can run a game silent hunter 5

for graphics card now anything better then what you have your gunna need a new PSU i would suggest like a 550 at least i would go with a 600 though and with that system you should be able to play pretty much anything.

I'd upgrade the PSU if I were upgrading the graphics anymore. I tried my 8800GT on my server with a 430W PSU to test something, but when I plugged it in and hooked everything up, there wasn't even a POST. I'm guessing lack of power with the PSU. The same system runs fine with my 7600GT.

You could get away with a 5770, MAYBE a 5850, but that's pushing it.

You'll need at least 530 watts... you can get one for $50 on Newegg. I would suggest 650W+ and then get a 5850 or 5870 for beast performance, maybe two 5770's in crossfire if you want to go that route.

Can you run it even said i passed before i bought the game

im going to try the 11/06/10 update see if that works ill reinstall the game aswell
