ok so its between this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127329
and this:
http://www.evga.com/products/moreinf...512-P3-N808-AR

the evga will perform way better but its $75 more (i can still afford it no problem) and nobody knows when it will come in stock. any ideas of what i should get, is it worth the extra $75? the evga is oc'd to 720mhz, where the msi is clocked to 660mhz.

The EVGA won't perform any better if you overclock the MSI to the same speeds. And if you're going to spend that much on an 8800GT, then you might as well ge the 8800GTS G92, which starts at around $285.

Yeah, if you can afford that, then for $240 after rebate you can get an 8800GTS, which is significantly faster than either of those cards.

2GB is more than enough to play either of those games. Orange Box would be fine with 1 gig...

2GB is fine for almost everything, and you can get some more anytime. I wouldn't say the 8800GTS is significantly faster than the 8800GT, but if you were going to pay $290 for the EVGA GT, then the GTS is definitely the best option. It's main advantages are the dual slot cooler and the 128 SPs.

I just got my nice new Thermaltake Toughpower 750W Modular but I used to try and tuck the excess cables into the drive trays and use cable ties etc.
