i recieve an dell xps 1530 laptop a while back.
it has 2gb ram but a T5450 @ 1.66GHz i was wanting to upgrade this, i am fairly tech just not in computers that much. i was wanting advice on which cpu is compatible with my laptop (curently running bios A12) also is there any guides on how to do it( i do have a slight idea but it is always nice to follow some pictures ) and i do understand it will void my warrenty but i can just put the old one back and send it off right thanx for any infomation you can give me in advance |

you can change a CPU on a laptop, but it is HIGHLY unrecommended because
1. Voids warrenty 2. you might mess something up 3. you would destroy a perfectly good laptop |

ok so if iam wanting for the laptop to have a bit more of a kick (in speed) just adding more ram will do you think?
