Intel costs more than AMD.
AMD is more of a budget wised computer, and Intel is more of Performance, but sometimes cost more than it should, but nothing can beat the AMDs Price/Performance ratio.

Anyone notice he's using 2GB of DDR ram not DDR2? He would have to get a new CPU, Ram, and Mobo.

if you want one for a few years, its going to be more the $200 especially if its for gaming.
You pretty much have to upgrade a part or two every year just to keep up.
