Intel costs more than AMD.
AMD is more of a budget wised computer, and Intel is more of Performance, but sometimes cost more than it should, but nothing can beat the AMDs Price/Performance ratio.

Anyone notice he's using 2GB of DDR ram not DDR2? He would have to get a new CPU, Ram, and Mobo.

I would get a AMD combo then, I would post part links, but I'm busy, so sorry.

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115052

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186138

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231098

Total: $198.97

Everything has free shipping for now. So, if you're going to order. You better do it quick. These should hold you up fine for a while. Just don't have hardcore expectations out of these parts.

if you want one for a few years, its going to be more the $200 especially if its for gaming.
You pretty much have to upgrade a part or two every year just to keep up.
