Default updating my bios?

i dont realy know much about bioses, but i think i read something that said if you update your bios, it may give you the option to boot from usb devices if you cant already do so. is this true? if so, how to i find out what bios i need and where can i get it?

Go to your m/board manufacturers website, find the d/load section applicable to your board, read the "Read Me" files associated with each bios release to ascertain if that particular bios will solve your problem.

Willy nilly flashing of the bios is a waste of time, don't flash unless the bios release solves the issues you are having, the read me file or Release notes will tell what the new bios solves/fixes.
