updating bios

i need to update my bios but im not sure how. i have a gigabyte 965p ds3 motherboard. i downloaded the bois from the site but idk what to do with the file.

why do you need to update it? It will tell you on the website what to do

yeah check the website. There should either be a program that you can run from windows, or one that you have to boot.

If you have no problems with your pc,theres on sense doing a flash.If you are new to PC's most cd's that come with the mobo have download for your bios,As mentioned you can read more how to do it on their site.
