Default Update on startup problems!!

Took my new build into a computer shope to have them run a diag on everything. Turns out the mobo (ASUS A8N5X) is bad and so is my power supply!!! WTF!! Everything is brand new out of the box!! Im PISSED!! So now I have to send the board back and wait for a new one! Anyone else have to do this with ASUS?? I also need to know what a good PSU is to get. I was thinking of

I need it to be SATA comp. and dont want to spend a lot of money! THANKS!!!
