I've got a Phenom II x3 720 BE, and I was wondering how to unlock the 4th core on it using my Asus M4a785-M Rev 1.01G.
It runs cold (36C load) so I'm not afraid of the heat :P

Get into the BIOS. I used to have one of these boards. It's self explanatory once in the BIOS. There's a core unlocker you have to enable and then tell it to open all 4 cores. If it starts shutting down randomly, it's unstable. Just turn it back to three cores and you're fine.
