Default Unlimited Sockets

I recently found a really decent Internet booster. Even with the SP2 installed, this thing gives unlimited socket use. After I installed it I stopped getting that damn event ID 4226 too. It's calledfull throttle patch If anyone's interested you should check it out.

It does seem a little like spam... and considering if somebody's having problems with SP2 they don't want to have to download seriously dodgey patches with unsafe incantations.

I've never had any socket problems, with or without XPSP2...
but it does ask for an email adderss before you are able to download the program...

personally, I wouldn't trust any patch/fix for windows that wasn't released by microsoft, (I have enough trouble trusting the patches that ARE released by microsoft!)

No, either would I. Patches are demonic as is, and non official ones..... just asking for problems anyways.
