Default Uncles comp(need help)

I know nothing about integrated graphics, but here is what I came up with. Ill probably go with the Intel system listed first. It will be used for basic tasks(email, word processing, music, etc...) Definantly no overclocking.

Nice build, but your overpaying for the LCD as well as your getting XP Home instead of Vista???

hit me up with a monitor then. I went with it cuz its kinda cheap. Should I go vista with 2gb of ram?

And the intel build integrated graphics are fine?

For $179.99 (+ free shipping) you can get a nice Acer AL1916WAbd Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor that will suit his needs just fine.

Yes, integrated graphics will be just fine. I believe the graphics chip on the AMD board is better than the Intel.

Ya but the intel cpu is a steal. Graphics is the only reason I built the amd. I saw that acer, but I don't know too much about them.. So I decided a company that I have used before. But I will try that acer if you say its good And it won customer choice.

Still need to know xp or vista. And how did they make the native res 1680x1050 on a 19"

I have an Acer sitting right in front of me. They make quality monitors with great color and clarity.

The Viewsonic states a resolution of 1680 x 1050. Most are 1440 x 900.

Here's an even better Acer monitor for the same price, but without the free shipping: Acer X193W+BD Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD.
