Default Unbelievable AMD prices...

Just under a year ago I bought my 4200+ X2 Dual Core (AM2) for 120 odd.....

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...atid=6&subcat=

I'm sorry, but that's incredible. I didn't know that the prices (even though AMD are cheap) were that cheap. That is still a pretty good processor too.

Thought I had to mention this.

100 would be aprox $200 dollars cos the current exchange rate is sweet , well at least for us buying from you

100.00 GBP=197.599 USD
according to xe.com

yeh over the past month or so exchange rate has been roughly double and sometimes better.

yeah that is a great processor for the price.

i only wish all these prices dropped when i built my machine..

u know i built an

Pentium D 815
2GB RAM 667Mhz
Asus Motherboard
7100GS card

about 3 months ago for 350

i built my G/F's bro pc a week ago and ge got

C2D e6320
2GB RAM 667MHz
Asus motherboard
7300LE card

FOR 335 and he has a gorgeous case wit a nice side windows and some neons

i think the major price drop was in the RAM. wish i could build mine again

yeah , i was looking at buying a 512mb ddr ram module in january and it was a few pound short of 40 now it is 20ish , that is half , and ddr2 has fell even more it is now cheaper to buy ddr2 brand new than to buy ddr so i am planning a new system ,to take place between September and november maybe even before depending on if i can get a job or not
