Unbearable?

No idea, but the metal keeps the heat in.. which is hard on the motor running at 10k. And also.. It gets the surface hot, and in a laptop everything is so close, you dont want anything hot. So.. Eh.. I dont know what would be better.. but with all the materails out there. Im sure there is something.

Yeah. 10k Would be impressive. Cant wait to see that in a laptop. Although thats going to be a bitch when trying to conrol heat. Unless they case the hard drive in something other then metal.
