Unable to sign msn hotmail

Hi I am unable to sing in my msn messenger. As it fails to sign in I receive a message. The message is as follows:

We were unable to sign you in to NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the Service or with your Internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet. 0x81000301.

I have also checked my Service Status which says all systems stable and running. Internet is working perfectly. Pleas help

yeah ive had that problem b4. All i can say really is to sign in again, mite be a connection problem, otherwise try closing msn then reopening...fixed mine last time
