Un-partitioning a hard-drive when i cant see the partition...

Well, i just installed ubuntu via livecd, i used the Livecd partitioner to partition my harddrive for Ubuntu. Well, the time has come to rejoin this partition to my original hard-drive so it is back to one C: drive. But, the problem is, how will i do this when the partiton doesnt even show up in my computer? is this normal? is this supposed to happen?

to remove it from xp try using the built in partition manager in Administrative Tools, or get something like partition magic. then you will have to boot from the xp disk and go to recovery console and type "fixmbr"
