How do I copy files from the Live CD? I'm a Windows guy...still dunno crap about Linux but the basics, lol. I would doubt it's hard, but its different than Windows...

And it's ok you didn't get back to me sooner, not like Ubuntu is my main OS.

Well put in your live cd, press "try ubuntu without any change to your computer", When it is done loading go to /media. Your hdd should be mounted in there, see what it is named (probably disk). Then open a konsole and type

 sudo gedit /media/disk/etc/X11/xorg.conf
It should open up xorg.conf and then you can copy it and paste it here. If your disk wasn't named "disk" replace "disk" with whatever it was named.
