I just thought of something that might work (but i don't have doubles in cp so i can't be sure). Try getting TweakUI and when you open it, click on the listbox item called "Control Panel" and uncheck System. Then apply and close it. Try seeing if both the systems are gone. If one is gone then leave it be. If both are gone go back in and check it again to see if it helps.

TweakUI: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe
or http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx and scroll down to TweakUI

Hope this helps
