I have an 8400GS from Evga. It's price effective and does a good bang for the buck for non gamers types. Ive used Power Point on mine and it doesn't miss a beat.

psu = power supply unit.

seems as though you dont need a powerful card, you wont need a decent psu, but all depends what you have atm.

Yeah, an 8400GS should work just fine. Pretty cheap too, about $30 on newegg.

before you get all excited
open your pcs case and look at the mobo
you need to see what expansion slot forms you have
if you have a PCIe 16
or a PCI
or what you have
or if its a AGP
they all factor into price
and psu is the power supply
it should be sitting at the top of your case

all right
your luckie
if your mobo is anything like this link
mobo info
then you can get a gpu with a good interface
as for the psu
you need to tell us if it looks like one of these
power pins 400w
power pins 750w
if you dont have enough power
then you cant get a new card
its that simple
