Default Two laptops, different temps.

Ok. Some of you know that Im having problems with my laptop getting hot.
I recently did a little test. Me and my mom own the exact same laptops. Same CPU's same amount of ram. everything is the same.
Heres runs at 45c idle, and mine runs at 63c idle.
I cleaned mine out, took it apart and sprayed it out. It wasnt that bad.
Reformatted mine. thought maybe there was back grounds apps running that was causing the processor to be used more. Also. some of my USB ports dont work. All of her's work just fine.
I cant figure this out. Any ideas?
Ive only had this laptop for 1 year and 6 months. Stupid me I didnt get the warranty.

One has a better cooling design, thats simply it. Also the temperature sensors are cheap and can be off by quite a few degrees, as well as two identical CPU's can run at different temperatures.
