im assuming the second one has a better speed? or is just better in general.


second question, can you get one of those things with an internal anntenna? just help me find somthing internal if it exists and help me find a really good one i can spend up to $90 on this.

if compusa still has them on sale, D-Link internal antennas that are 108mbps are under $90 and have about $30 or so in mail-in rebates

yes, you can use different brands. But the only thing that won't work is encryption, but i doubt you even will use that.

The second receiver is not faster, it just has one more protocol than the first one. It would be a waste of money though as the 802.11a protocol isn't really used that much. Stick with the 802.11b/g.
