Two dumb questions

if compusa still has them on sale, D-Link internal antennas that are 108mbps are under $90 and have about $30 or so in mail-in rebates
 
yes, you can use different brands. But the only thing that won't work is encryption, but i doubt you even will use that.
 
The second receiver is not faster, it just has one more protocol than the first one. It would be a waste of money though as the 802.11a protocol isn't really used that much. Stick with the 802.11b/g.
