Which of the two?

Which of these two similar spec similar price laptops do you think i should buy, i plan on some medium level gaming and use of dreamweaver and flash 8. Medium level gaming i would class as, Farcry on decent settings, guild wars, maybe WoW, probably OrangeBox or CS/CS:S

Laptop 1-Acer Aspire 7720G; Classed as a 'Gaming Laptop'
Laptop 2-Acer Travelmate 5520G; Classed for business use but runs a similar spec.

id go with the 7720G

more HDD, better GPU (from what I know), intel duel core, "longer" battery life

and its 8 euros less...

The 2400 XT is the better GPU if you want to play games on your laptop.

The C2D has a better speed ratio over the Turion. The 2400XT is a good graphics card for the laptop, but don't intend to play Crysis at full settings.

It should be fine for what he wants to run though, the 8400 is a pretty weak card.

Thanks for clearing this up, i thought the 8400 was better. Does anyone else think the gemstone design seen used in this and many other Acer Apsires is quiter ugly? i hate that grey design.

Also, would i be able to play FarCry on high settings on the travel mate?

If you're looking for a budget system, I would look closely at Dell and Compaq. I wouldn't recommend Acer.
