Default TV Tuners?

So if I got a TV Tuner for my computer, what kinds of stations would I get? And would the use of a TV Tuner be irrelevant after the switch to digital, or would it still work? I like the idea of being able to watch TV in my room since I don't have a TV. Can someone recommend me some good TV Tuners/ remotes? Thanks.

If you get an analog tuner you would get whatever is analog on your ant or cable feed. If you go digital you can get what ever channel package you have on your cable or get OTA digital channels.
Be cautious when buying. Digital will get pricey.
