TV and PC

If I wanted to watch something from my PC on my TV what components do I need.

u need a dual dvi or vga connector that you would connect one end to your video card and one to your TV.

so I would most likely need a separate video card and a dual DVI connector and that is it?

yeah that will work. if your video card support Dual monitors, then you can just use the one you already have.

Most video cards have 2 DVI ports anyway.
Just use you TV that you hooking up as a monitor, so take the cord out of the monitor and plug it in the TV. It has to have a DVI port though, so make sure the TV will support the Cable.

My TV was bought in 1999 and I know it has an S video. Could I use that? Use as a monitor, a 52" monitor, cool. Do any video cards come with and S video port?

You most definitely can use the S-video.The quality the image won't do justice to the video card though.

So what type of connector would I get? Obviously one end has to be S video on TV what about audio on TV and what type of connector for PC?
