TV as computer monitor?

Yeah, it will work as long as your pc has s-video out and you'll have to hook up seperate audio cables if you want that. HDMI would be preferable for that if your pc has HDMI out, it combines hd video and audio into one cable.

I have a 37" Westinghouse 720p TV and I use a standard DVI-D to HDMI cable and for sound I use the SPDIF out on my sound card into my Home theater receiver.

works AMAZINGLY for crysis
oh and also just go to ur video card settings and change it over for your TV so my rez would be (1280x720)

hmmm im not so sure, you could use s-video but its not great at displaying text,

you could use a hdmi - dvi connector like me but again i cant have it at my desired resolution its down to like 1280 X 760 i think or something like that,

too big and the text isnt clear for some reason,

computer signals are cmpletely different the only way u will get good pic's is with a tv that has a dvi or vga input so its ment to take pc input,

but by all mean you can do it jus with lower res
