I'm trying to restore a DELL 9300 laptop back to factory new condition. It has a restore partition (saw it in disk management), but hitting CTRL + F11 while turning it on does not work. It immediately starts loading Windows XP. I even tried using BOTH CTRL buttons (along with F11) on the keyboard. Any other suggestions?

No repair options. From what some other forums are saying, since this laptop is from 2004, the recovery partition might be damage. Even though we are the original owners & XP has never been reinstalled or wiped out, it could have been too long and and it got corrupted.
I actually have the original XP & drivers disc and can ultimately redo everything this way, but was maybe hoping to try this restore option first instead.
