Question Trying to build budget computer to last me through uni. and for the gaimz! NEED HELP.

ok. im trying to aquire a computer that will:
1) get me through uni
2) let me play modern and upcoming games (SKYRIM ), not necessarily on high graphic settings.
3) Not suck me dry

So. i have been shopping around, done a LOT of looking at graphs and stuff for components, and i have learned much. but im still a scrub. a friend of mine built his own pc a year or so back and he has helped me come up with set of things to buy to make this happen. Here it is:

Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10600 Memory Kit CL9 1.5V

Corsair 500W series PCU

Asus M4A88T-V-WVO/US83 880G Socket AM3, on board 128MB memory DVI VGA HDMI out ATX Motherboard

AMD Phenom II x 4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz Socket AM3 8MB cache 125W processor

Sappire HD 6670 512 GDDR5 HM VGA HDMI PCI-E graphics card

Coolermaster Elite 330 Black Mid Tower Case

Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB cache – OEM Caviar Blue

LiteOn IHAS124-19 24x DVD RW DL & RAM SATA optical drive – OEM black with nero essentials

Xilence Red Wing 120mm Quiet Fan – 3&4pin connection

Microsoft OS.

So there it is. I would love criticisms and advice. Atm i can get all that and a cheap monitor for 545, and my budget is very tight around that kinda price. If i could get something at this kinda level for any cheaper that would be awesome.
Also i would like to be able to add / swap out components in the future to upgrade, and keep level (or maybe a bit behind) the specifications for current games. At the moment im into sc2, and would love to get skyrim and either battlefield 3 / cod mw3 in the future. Just so you know what im aiming at

Hear my plea gamers of the world!
thanks

If you're anything like me, the option of playing games will eliminate any studying you might have to do.

looks good to me though, other than the graphics card. Don't let them rip you off with this 512mb cowpoo, Up your budget a little bit and look at Nvidia's GTX series or AMD's 6700/6800s.

The more you pay the better gaming experience you will have.

ive been looking at a pc from pcspecialist. it has:
x4 phenom 955 3.2GHz
asus motherboard
4gb of ram (GDDR3)
and i might be able to afford the radeon HD 6770 in it. (1GB)

im favouring this as it turns out slightly cheaper and i get limited functionality word and excel, which would be really useful.

Should i be concentrating my money on a better processor or graphics card?
thanks for the replies, you guys are being really helpful

Perhaps a bigger RAM you not an essential it should be big enough but I would recommend looking for a bigger one.
