Unhappy Trouble installing ASUS EPU-6 Engine!

I have a enw ASUS P5Q motherboard, and I'm trying to install the EPU-6 Engine off of the installation disk. However, the trouble arises when setup finishes and the system automatically boots. Whenever the CD is in, instead of loading Windows XP as usual, it instead prompts me to select something about 32/63 bit RAID disks and asks for a floppy. I tried simply taking out the CD and manually reboot the system, but that results in the EPU-6 engine not being installed after boot.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Did you install the motherboard chipset drivers before the EPU-6 software? How about changing the boot order to the hard drive first?

All the other drivers available on the disk are installed but this one.

How would I go about changing boot order, in the BIOS options?

Yup, consult your motherboard manual for the section needed.

Alright, I realized that my BIOS was set to load my DVD drive as the primary boot instead of my SATA, so I fixed that and Windows loads properly now.

However, it says the EPU-6 engine is installed upon boot, but then immediately after it says not installed!!! And indeed, there is nothing installed after boot! This is really perplexing.

Unfotunately, Google brings up nothing but your thread here.

A search of the Asus Suooprt Site brings up alot of issues with that software, but none like your's: Asus Support - EPU-6 Engine Problems

Maybe try a newer version then what's on the CD.

Nevermind, I noticed that a motherboard driver was disabled. After enabling it, installation was fine.

Now there's 1 more problem plagueing me since the start, and that is the BSOD. I've been getting them since Windows was reinstalled, and now happens within 1-3 min of booting.

I don't know, I think I should just repair Windows or completely format my harddisk and start all over.
