To whom it may concern,
I have a 1GB Lexar Jump Drive. I have data files stored from one computer on it. That computer (computer #1) runs Win XP.
On to computer #2 I would like to transfer those data files. Computer #2 also runs Win XP.
Both computers have Win Office Pro that includes Excel and Access.
My question is: why when I move the files stored on the jump drive to computer #2, I cannot open those files? Do I need to open WORD or Excel, etc and drop those files somehow into those programs?
I simply dragged and dropped the files on the desk top and attempted to open. This is obviously not enough to work. I'm not sure what the next or the proper placement should be to allow the files to open.
