Default Transfering music to a different PC

yeah, I am getting a new rig, I wanna transfer all of my songs on Media player to my new rig. How do I do it? Because all my songs are scattered. Do I just save my media player list. (It save as a .wpl) then do I just open the play list on media player on my new rig?

you will also have to transfer all the songs.
So i would suggest hunting down all those songs put them in folder, then transfer to the new computer.
If you just move the playlist, windows media will not play because it would not find any songs.

Externals hard drives are a real Life savor for me in all situations. It's good to get one. Especially with Media files. Then you can basically backup your whole hard drive on there, pick and choice what you want once your new rig is up.

edit: but you got a playlist, so yeah save the playlist lol (small file)..
