Default Touch Screen PC's and Netbooks

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question about touch screen PC's and netbooks such as the HP5102; does the touch screen interface only work in certain applications such as photo galleries or can it be used for universal navigation; i.e: start menu, windows explorer?

Thanks
Daniel S

I'm pretty sure it can be used for universal navigation. At least the Dell netbook I played with that had a touchscreen worked that way.

Thanks for that, I think that sort of system would be really handy for applications such as powerpoint when giving lectures and that sort of thing.

The touch screen is basically a replacement input device for the mouse. Anywhere you can use the mouse, you can use the touchscreen
