touch pad driver

I have a Acer Aspire 3502 laptop and the touchpad does not work. I assume that it is the drivers though I have no clue where to find them or how to install them. Any assistance would be heplful. Also, under the device manager it says that the device is working properly, so that just confuses me even more.

if u haven't done this yet, go to the Acer website and download the drivers for ur laptop.
