i didn't think i would have to 'portforward' it but i'll give it a try. anyway i did a portforward for azureus, and it seems to be going a little bit faster.

u could be downloading some very old things which don't have many seeders anymore, but I'm guessing that u can't connect to the tracker. Maybe a firewall blocking the port that uTorrent uses?

Yeah, well, the things I were downloaded were pretty old, plus i'm on 28.8k, so yeah.

okay now whenever i download something using a torrent via azureus, it says that xxx.xkB discarded. is this okay?

That may be because people are giving you bad bits of data so it throws it away

okay, the only thing that the torrent it downloading is a rar file. will the rar file be corruped after it finishes downloading or what??!! (1.01MB discarded)

Is it against the rules? To my knowledge it isn't really because we are talking about the client? eh I dunno

Anyways, it won't be corrupt. thats why it throws away the corrupt stuff
