Time to replace my modem???

I have a Toshiba PCX2200 cable modem that is about 4 years old. Is there a life on these modems, or should I expect anything to go wrong with it? Right now I seem to have to re-boot more frequently than I used to because there is no connection. Also, I get the pop-up saying that I "have limited or no connectivity" very often.
