54mbps is slow =\?

You can't even get that kind of connection.

5mbps is fast already!

54mbps is not slow for wireless. Most internet connections are only 1-3 mb anyway. If your in a situation where you need to transfer a lot of files on a network.. well. plug a cable in.

Sorry i didnt manage to reply yesterday, couldn't get online. Yea, so basically, i knew i wuldnt be able to run Crysis, and i didnt intend to spark a major Wi-Fi debate. My budget is only about 425 and if i could get a laptop with a better video card and CPU then i dont mind spending more to add some more RAM. Please have a look round for me or suggest a laptop you've owned on a low budget with good results.
