Default For those that know about overclocking...

hi,

i am going to do my first overclock in the next couple of days. Trouble is i have no idea how to do it. If i post my spec, could someone explain what i would need to change in my bios and how they came to that conclusion. Many thanks

asrock conroexfire mobo
conroe e6300
arctic cooling alpine 7 HSF
1gb buffalo 4200 533ghz RAM
extra akasa amber 92mm fan fitted to the back for extra airflow.

What exactly are you trying to OC ? your processor / video card ? , that way someone can help you further. i would help, but i don't know a thing about OCing. =)

To overclock your cpu, you need to hit up your FSB located in the BIOS.

For your graphics card, a quick and easy fix is to download ATi Tool and choose Max Core and then Max memory
