so i am thinking of overclocking my 8800GT, but not play it in games all the time, but to see how high it goes, and how it performs.
is there some kind of auto overclock for the 8800Gt like ATI has in Catalyst control?
The ATI Catalyst Overclocks the card, and see how high it goes depending on the temp and stability. Theres like barely any chance of frying the ATI card using that the Catalyst.
I know Rivatuner makes OC to a whole nother level, but theres a chance of frying it if not careful.
i didnt have my 8800GT that long, and i am paranoid of frying it.
so is there an auto overclock for my 8800GT?
i googled, but all i got was to OC in Coolbits, and do the regedit and change it to 3. but i dont see it.
thanks in advance

EDIT - Nevermind, i found it on the Nvidia site, its called System Tools.
shouldve did more research before i post....

yeah, i found that program.
but that program doesnt auto clock either.
everything ive used so far never autoclocks, they are all manual.

That's because every card overclocks different. When I used auto on my 6800GS I got artifacts everywhere. Just do it yourself and raise the clocks slowly. Rivatuner is a good program to use.
