Which of these PCs are better?

PC No.1:
Windows XP Home Edition SP2
120GB HDD
nVidia Ge-Force 7300 LE
Intel Pentium D 2.6ghz
1024MB RAM

PC No.2:
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
500GB HDD
Powercolor ATI Radeon 9550 256MB
Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.6ghz
2048MB RAM

OMG, out of those choices, PC#2 gets the vote from me. Love the RAM count, love the hard drive space, love Vista. Everything else is so-so. It gets the job done.

I personally wouldn't go for anything less than a Dual Core at this point in time now. That knocks the Pentium 4 HT out.

Thanks for the replies, the 2nd 1 is also my favourite. It was built at a budget of £150 (had a few parts alredy tho), the second one my sister got for £400 frm PC world, its a compaq.

Yeah I think PC World are a rip-off, my PC would have cost at least £300 if I'd got all the parts from pc world. Thing is she got it about 1-2yrs ago so the hardware wd hav been mor expensive but I also didn't realise what a rip off they were.

then again, you could just reinstall on the second comp
